Commemorative T-Shirts and Collector's Item Enlargements

In hindsight, the courage of Gussie and Addie to tackle a trip of this scope in 1916 was amazing.  Although they were recorded in the media of the day, they received very little recognition for their exploits.  Often, their bikes received the kudos, not the riders.  Most of the literature of the day was condescending and bordered on insult. It often robbed these young women of the fruits of their accomplishment.

We would like to right that wrong, by making Gussie and Addie's names commonplace in all American homes. After all, they were ahead of their time.

Adeline continued her career as an Educator, and earned her law degree from NYU.  Augusta became a pilot, flying in Amelia Earhart's 99s Flying Unit in New York.

T-shirts to commemorate the 1916 trip are available.  Two styles are available; one fitted black ladies T and a natural color T with a shot of the Sisters with their bike. Go to the next page to see them.

Poster sized photo enlargements are also ready. Look at the next page for a description of these high quality blowups.
