It's time to start planning for the 100th anniversary ride in July 2016.
The previous ride took about three years to prepare and execute, so this
time we'll try to avoid the glitches we experienced the first time. Ha!, glitches.
We basically went from plan A to plan B to, ...eventually, no plan at all.
No reservations, just get on the bike in the morning and arrive somewhere
further west each day. But that was the beauty of the ride, and that's how
the sisters operated too. We didn't worry about connections, timing, or
expectations, we just enjoyed the unexpected revelations of each day.
A concert of sorts, accompanied by the music of the hum of the engine.
We have some ideas about what to do next, but they are still very preliminary.
Most likely, we will still ride for the Intrepid Fund and hopefully raise more money for the folks who need it the most, our wounded vets.
As things firm up we'll let you know what's happening, until then, ride safe.
